Lavender is an essential oil staple because of its versatility and superior soothing, calming and balancing effects. It is often used to aid the healing of burns or cuts, for skin and muscle conditions (thus its use in lotions and creams), to minimize headaches, assist with sleep, alleviate the pain of insect bites and a variety of other uses. Emotionally, many people find it calming as an antidote for stress or anxiety. It is generally non-allergenic, but some individuals may react--especially those with a history of allergies. Therefore, it is best used diluted on the skin. Lavender can be diffused.

Lavender is my go - to oil for almost anything, it's a staple in my house for a number of things. That being said...I go through it fast! I tried Welcome to Life's lavender several months ago and I'm highly impressed, it smells amazing!! I especially love to diffuse it with peppermint!

When I came down with shingles, I soaked in a bathtub with a few drops of lavender oil. I made cold compresses with the oil. I applied the oil directly to the sores. I was able to continue to work and maintain my responsibilities. I believe the lavender reduced my pain enormously and shortened the duration of the open sores.

I am discovering new uses for this product everyday. My husband is currently treating his ingrown toenail with it.

I couldn't live without Lavender! I use it for a variety of things from skin blemishes to combining with lemongrass for a "trigger finger".
