This is awesome peppermint oil! The primary constituent of Peppermint Essential Oil is menthol. Because of its wonderful aroma and flavor, peppermint is used for a variety of purposes commercially (food, candies, and toothpastes are common applications). Aromatherapists recommend peppermint to help alleviate feelings of anger, exhaustion, and depression. Peppermint is reportedly useful for digestive issues like indigestion, flatulence, or stomach upset. It may also alleviate headaches, cool fevers, and open up air passages when inhaled. We use peppermint primarily as a flavoring for our home-made chocolates. Dilute peppermint for topical use and massage on the feet or localized stomach area. Peppermint essential oil can be diffused.

I use in a diffuser for a few different uses. I add it to Protection to cool the sinuses a bit, alone for sinuses, mix with Cinnamon for a great blend of smells to relax, and use as an oil on my brow for headaches. Smells great too. Reading M's review, I'll have to try it on the roof of my mouth next headache...D

When asking the owners their recommendations for headaches, they suggested I put a little peppermint on the roof of my mouth. I have not used a store bought pill for a headache since. My body reacts very well to this oil and will completely get rid of my headache quickly. Plus it gives me very fresh breath at the same time!
